It’s all about the beach

No wonder Playa Muchavista is a lot about the beach. I mean, it is actually a part of the name; the beach with a lot of views. The seven kilometer, really wide, blue flag beach is a great place to spend time spring, summer and autumn, and it is actually a nice place for walks and relaxation in the winter too.

March to October there are sun beds and umbrellas for rent. It is quite affordable too, compared to the hot spots around the Mediterranean. The 2020 price for two sun beds and an umbrella was fifteen euros. If you prefer to stay active you also have a lot of options. Water sports and beach volleyball courts are readily available along the entire length of the beach.

If you bring children to the beach you will appreciate the shallow water. For swimming you must prepare to walk a bit first. And be aware that the beach patrol are quite strict when the red or yellow flag flies. The rules are definitely enforced.

Along the Playa Muchavista beach promenade there are also a number of restaurants which are great places for lunch. The food is in general ok, but these restaurants are more for the views and atmosphere than the gourmet experience. Just remember to reserve a table on Sundays during peak season.
